Since July 2024, Eva Bučová has been responsible for managing ING in the Czech Republic and its further growth in the area of corporate banking. Prior to her appointment as CEO, she led the Corporate Sector Coverage team, which serves corporate clients. As chair of the Sustainability Committee, she was involved in implementing ESG principles at ING’s Czech branch and supporting corporate clients in their transition to sustainability. She is involved in various external initiatives and working groups, such as the “Change for the Better” business platform, the working group for sustainable finance at the Czech Banking Association, and Partners4Sustainability under the auspices of the Czech-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Eva Bučová joined ING in 2002 and held management positions in sales and risk management at ING in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands. She further expanded her professional experience in corporate banking at Erste Bank in the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, and Romania. She then worked at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, where she was responsible for corporate clients and financial institutions from Central and Southeastern Europe. She also participated in the development of guarantee structures for banks within the European Fund for Strategic Investments. She returned to ING Czech Republic in 2017 as a senior advisor.

Her other areas of interest include energy transformation, sustainable finance, and the circular economy. She enjoys spending time with her family and her son Daniel. She likes reading books about neuroscience. She loves running and is a big fan of the concept of longevity.

Eva is a graduate of the Faculty of International Trade at the University of Economics in Bratislava.
